Japanese and American Flag...a usual sight here...
The Hero Hike...a monthly hike where the students hike around our school's base in honor of their "Heroes." Most times the children do not understand that the heroes are actually their parents. The Hero Hike helps them to realize the importance and honor their military parents.
15,000 miles and counting...including last year's mileage...
Yay..Mr. Grubbs...keeping the kids fit and PROUD!

Mrs. Sherry...she is one of the coolest ladies I've met...she has been around Kai as an infant...and he used to be really shy with her...he he he...but now loves her presence...and she has
lil' Sophia's heart too! We love you Mrs. Sherry!

Sophia walking up to a Kai who isn't aware his sis is approaching...working his water spout..
SOphie...I can't talk now...I'm in line...go with mama..right now! I'll get in trouble...Big brother being Big brother...directing
lil' sis..he is Barney Fife...and follows the directions to a "T"
Soph...sitting patiently and waiting for the Hero Hike to begin...

Kai filling in Sophie about the Hero Hike..

You can tell she is proud to be walking with big brother...

Trying to be a cool cat and fit in...

trying to run to catch up...

Such a tender sight...Sophia walking with Kai and being sweet...this shows the affection she has for big brother Kai Kai...

Making contact...telling him how fun the hike is...

Always doing something fancy...girl like...

The leader of the pack...Mr. P.E. giving all the
kidz a high five....

This Hero hike was a sweaty one...I was dripping with sweat and so was everyone..including sister..below..

She was quite peeved with me b/c it was a long HIKE...and her legs were very very tired...so dramatic...slumped shoulders and everything...he he he...it gets better...look below...

Her feelings are so hurt b/c she won't be able to go to Kai's classroom and have snack time...she was boo
hoo-
ing...really boo-
hooing..and me being a blogger ...shot this picture real quick like so people didn't think I was a cold hearted mama...hehehehe...But as soon as I said we would jet to the
shoppette to get a ice cream treat...she instantly was happy as a clam...and alas...my camera had already made its way into the camera bag...she chose a drumstick cone and wasn't a share bear...he he he...I know I wouldn't be...*wink*!
I'll be blogging our camping trip on Monday night...your Monday morning...I
prolly should say Tuesday...I'll have to rest from our vacation!
Till then...
Keep it real...
