So this is a transition (school) year for me....WoOhOo.....

So when I get that organized and straightened out...then HOPEFULLY...(crossing fingers)..I'll start to want to blog....

Texas bound....we leave today...mid-morning....and arrive mid-evening...Bittersweet....
We've loved our stay at MiMi and PaPa's abode...every year they spoil us....to the core....homemade meals...touring...always up for anything we want to partake in...and to see them play and cuddle with the kids brings such joy to Kent and I...summer is such a GREAT time of our lives...from childhood to adulthood...nothing beats...summer vacation!
We love us some MiMI and PaPa...always have....always will....

Kent-o and his ol' Lady...9 years...July 1, 2009....where does the time go?

We celebrated our 9 year anniversary yesterday...which is totally unlike us....he he he...
We are always traveling around during the summer our anniversary gets lost in the mix sometimes...but this summer we made sure to stop and count our blessings!!

I have so much to blog and feel very overwhelmed by it all...my pictures seem to be half in Okinawa...and half here...so I'm opting to blog about our summer travels and pick up where I left off when I get back to the "Rock"....

I had a surgical procedure on June 29th...and I'll blog about that too!
Following the procedure...I'm very nostalgic for my family and friends...something that I'm never short of...b/c I LOVE people...I love trying to figure them out...and I love all angles of discussion...(almost...all angles...I don't like when it angles toward hate) b/c it stresses me out! ;o)
But nonetheless...I will be blogging about my emotional wild ride that I've been on since March 3, 2009....hence the lack of luster to blog.....This Stella has got to get her Groove back!

Kent has been my ROCK and my security blanket....and I feel so Blessed that God lead Kent into my life...a gentle...caring...loyal...supportive...loving...Kent-O!
Kent knows how to make me laugh when I'm mad at him...we are in a time of our life where he knows what I'm gonna have to say on different subjects....and he is understanding....to the whimsical to the serious...
I can hear his reply on certain things even when we are apart...I can here his logical thinking from afar....(and that can sometimes suck...esp when I'm in a heated shopping spree...he he he)
He know hows to soothe...he knows when to be playful and when not to be...
We balance each other out...
Kent is special...the first time I met him...he was the package I wanted...so cliche...I just knew...he was my speed....not arrogant...nor snide...nor flashy....
My grandmother loved Kent from the moment she met him...she said he had gentle eyes...they say the eyes are the window to the soul...and his baby greens are as genuine as they come!
Kent is my best friend...I can confide in him in so many levels and that to me is such a comfort!
I LOVE me some Kent!
Here's to you babe....and here's to many more years of Rocking and Rolling!

A lil' flustered....over here across the ocean...he he he

I've been so behind...I'm sorry for the delay...the pictures were supposed to be on the way....I'm looking for a particular picture of me and my dad...but I'll have to settle on a different one...I'm gonna blog either on Wednesday night or Thursday night...amidst...dinner out with friends who are Pcsing...and getting the house in order for our Stateside vacation....I'm a lil' flustered with it all...ahhhh.....but once I get it together....I'll blog!! I promise...have some loose ends with Church stuff I've been busy with as well....so thanks for your patience and check back soon! ;o)

Field trip with our boy....Kent being Social..what? and My ZZ girls...;o)

Kai had a field trip to the Zoo....

and mama and Sophia came along for the ride....

It is "Golden" week here...and the kites are up including the Fish kites...

We were paired up with another mom and friend from Kai's class....we had a good time...walking up and around some major hills...studying the animals...

Holy-cow, Batwoman!...is that Sophia....(I know a bit repetitive...he he he )

Since it is "Golden" week...a holiday week in Japan...all the lil' kiddies were out and about...with their red lil' hats...

After the Zoo...Kai and classmates went on to the Wonder Museum...and Soph and mama headed home to pack for our overnight adventure to White Beach....

Kent is part of the social committee at school..so he coordinated a trip with his fellow teachers to stay the night in a trailer that we all rented....pretty neat to do...a lil' vakay during the weekend...

Kent did an awesome job on getting everything organized....from a fire during the evening with smores galore...to a potluck picnic the following day...involving some beach play and the kids went swimming....and we soaked up some rays....

Then the next morning...mama and her ducklings....drove all the way to Kai's soccer game...(which I didn't mind...all for the LOVE of the game...he he he) while daddy stayed and got the grill fired up and flipped burgers for his fellow crew (teacher's)....

We got some shirts made up...Sophia's says (Kai's Sister)....

Then I leave a bit early from the beach...come home and speed read...shower...out the door...and booked it over to book club....
I always look forward to the days filled with my girls...cause mama does need her down time...he he he....but I sure do LOVE my family time too!!

C-dawg had to go home which is about 1 mile down the road...to help Grammie...the babysitter visiting...get Emma's arm which was stuck outta a chair...all was well...she just missed the group photo!!

Busy Friday and Saturday...but Sunday was a day that we got to slow down a bit...with Church...lunch out...and then Daddy took the kidz to ultimate...while mama got caught up with house work...b/c that is a never-ending cycle....

My daddy-san's birfday was last week...but since our house was down and out with a bug I didn't get to blog about, Chief!

So that is on my to do list...hopefully Wednesday!!

Counting down the days....weeeeeeeeee!
