Kai and Sophie...do something "Spectacular"!

Doodling with the camera...telling Kai and Sophia to do something Spectacular! You catch a glimpse of "J"...he had a "cameo" appearance! *wink*

They have fun playing and climbing...and it wears them out!

I hope to implement more snippet's of video...don't hold your breath tho'!

Last one for tonight...for reals tho'!

TtotheG

I thought I was getting my picture taken but I was being recorded..he he he

I was holding baby "G"...and I wanted a picture taken of me and the lil' doll baby....I had just finished recording some of Kent's ultimate frisbee game...so it was left on record...he he he...so sMarti was trying to take my picture...but I was secretly being video-taped...she was trying to figure it out as well...but the last word out of my mouth wasn't an expletive...it was "film"...he he he...you might have to pause the music on the lower left side to hear....and I love that I have bunny teef at the end..."What's up Doc!"

This was toooo funny!!

Enjoy me cheesing away...baby "G" is so chill..;-)

I tried to upload some of Kent's game...but it was taking forever...so next week I'll try again.....it is pretty fun to play...and watch..

Ultimate Frisbee is the sport Kent and his buddies LOVE...for two hours they will play...

Some of the wives go and we bring the chillin's...and we watch the daddy's play...the chillin's play... we talk and catch up on the weekend...we cluck cluck here and we cluck cluck there...like hens...hens I say.....lots of fun...lots to say!

Headed to bed soon...

G'night

Cleaning it up folks...

I'm gonna have one or two posting's showing at a time...so go down to the left and look at the archive's...

One of Kai's assignments....Kent's debut...first time blogging...:-)

"Kai, that is very good but the two g's need to
be on the bottom part of the line."
Kai looks at me, with the most innocent eyes and says, "But dad, it's Tigger....He's boucin."
This is logic that cannot be argued with.
(The drawing, by the way, is Tigger)
It does not have quite the detail of a Weaver original artwork titled, "The Mounting of a Horse."
This is my inaugural blog. I, at least, hope you got a little chuckle. Although you never know when they will happen, funny little things like this pop up all the time. It's just one of the many little tiny things that are strung together to make a wonderful day. It is amazing that these wonderul days come one after another.

Kent-O laid a good one on me...keepin' the romance alive....Kai and Soph directing...he he he...this is sultry...oooh..la la....;-)

Look what our "bugs" caught on film...he he he...we still got it! *ha*
We were being "SUPER" silly..but hey....the camera doesn't lie...he he he...had to share! :-)
A survey...from a friend-y!
I'm a fool for romance:

When you saw him....what did you think? So handsome...and his eyes were genuine...a bright green with golden speckles..yes speckles..I tell Donna she has them too!!

When you first hugged..? After a party of a mutual friend...a kegger of all things....yes I said kegger..

What were the first words spoken? "Hello!"...."Hey There!"..."Sorry for keeping you waiting..."...I was in line for the "Loo" (but really that was the words my childhood was screaming at me...Sorry for keeping you waiting!") *ha*

What is the first dance you danced to when you finally danced: "The Devil went down to Georgia"...country and fast paced....he always has kept my heart rate up!

First date? A Greek party...which he talked with a few friends of mine...when he was picking me up...and he grasped my hand...and I felt like such a girl...happy and shy! BUT really happy!

Jealous or not...? Ummm...I plead the fifth...*wink* I know when to be and not to be...:-)...intuition!

Does he really know you? Very intuitive...he knows when I'm upset..or down...and definitely knows when I'm HappY!...I can't stop being silly!!

Does he like your family? Ahhh...he LOVE's my family...but sometimes doesn't know why things happen the way they do! He has always embraced my family...and helped me figure out how to deal with some things!

Believe in Love? Yes...everyone finds someone their own speed...and yes...he surprises me ..b/c he tells me what I am thinking...at the same time I say it....Know it all...Kenter's...!!!

Destined to be together? It's God's will!

Happy? More than words....he has learned to listen to me...and he is a GREAT Father...A GREAT FATHER and HUBBY!!!!

Does he like your mom?! He loves...CoCo...and CoCo pampers him...always wanting to cook him something...and whenever I have a complaint...she tells me how lucky I am! *smile* Like I don't know!

Does he like your dad? He admires Chief....a country boy at heart...a sturdy ...Good Ol' Boy.....they have shell'd purple hull pea's together so many times...respects where he has been and what he is...!

Content? But...why of course.....the LOVE of mah' life!

Cheesy...but liked doing it...copy...paste...and post!

Love and hugs,
Trit

My boys came home with flowers...for Sophia and Me! Awwwwww...such sweeties!

Kent and Kai brought home flowers for Sophia and Me!
What a sweet surprise! Kai really likes Sunflowers...he was so proud giving them to me! Whenever we are out and about...and he sees flowers he is all about picking them for me and/or our friends...female and male...*smile*...but I try to tell him to leave them on the bush....so other people can enjoy them too....(sometimes he listens)..but I should just let him pick them because it makes him feel good about giving them to people...and the people love his gesture! He'll go a "mile" for a "smile"...this boy is all about giving!
To sum it all up....Sophia and I felt "giddy" and a lil' "girlie"!
The simple things in life....do make a difference!
Thank you...Daddy-san and Kai-san!

Look at your children...........they are "AMAZING" little people who are so curious about life! I can only hope and pray that I could only be half the mother to my children as you are to yours! I look at you and I see..............STRENGTH, HONESTY, COMPASSION, DRIVE, GIGGLES, DRINKER OF WINE...A LOT OF WINE, OPENNESS, LOYALTY, LOVE, ENDURANCE, FAMILY, TRUTH, HUMOR, PROTECTOR, INNOCENCE, BEAUTY. The way I see it, you have not lost who you are, but have gained two more AMAZING replicas of yourself!!

Invisible Woman...invisible hands.....

This artsy fartsy hand picture came in "handy"....my manicurist is on vacation...and Sophia has been filling in...and her art work is displayed on my fingernails..and it is HOT as PINK can get...but hey...she and mama enjoyed the girl time...
Onward to the point at "hand"......*wink*
I got an email from Emily one of my best friends who inhabits the "Rock" with Da' G' Unit...and she is a stay at home mama as well...and she forwarded me this email that I am posting..so hang in there "talkative" Tritia has a few words to express...
Last year was such a tough year for me....being a stay at home mama...and trying to keep "it" all together...all the lesson's to teach...all the laundry to wash...fold...put away...all he floors to mop...all the dinners to prepare...all the baths to run....you get my drift...I abso-toot-ley LOVE my kids... my bunny (aka Kent-o) and my job...but...I felt I was losing who I was... a part from being a mama and a wife...feeling so blah about who I was...and questioning if I'm laying the right foundation for the kidz....you know...all the worries it comes with signing up to have kidz...but the cross was mine to carry...and I felt many days turned towards prayer...getting up in the middle of the night..checking on the kids...I found myself in immediate prayer....from protecting the kids to guidance on how to be a PATIENT and LOVING parent....but these emails...the ones that are about mothers and stay at home mothers...really are read and re-read many times by myself...and Kent graciously always forwards me the ones that he gets along the way too....Kent-0 has always been my best cheerleader and will be the first one to tell me that he is proud that I am a stay at home mama....and with his strength and my family supporter's...I found my "aha" moment this summer (which is another LONG story) but I did want to leave you all with this email...which at the end...I had tears dripping off of my chin...being a mother not only a stay-at-home-mama*...is something so powerful...more than words can express...but the following story did move me to tears!
* (I DON'T want to offend those who cannot or who chose not to stay home...everyone is different and I embrace that!! I never in a million years thought I would be one..but being in DODDS it was an option that worked for Da' G' Unit ;-)

I'm invisible.
It all began to make sense...the blank stares, the lack of response, the way one of the kids will walk into the room while I'm on the phone and ask to be taken to the store. Inside I'm thinking, 'Can't you see I'm on the phone?' Obviously not. No one can see if I'm on the phone, or cooking, or sweeping the floor, or even standing on my head in the corner, because no one can see me at all. I'm invisible. Some days I am only a pair of hands, nothing more: Can you fix this? Can you tie this? Can you open this? Some days I'm not a pair of hands; I'm not even a human being. I'm a clock to ask, 'What time is it?' I'm a satellite guide to answer, 'What number is the Disney Channel?' I'm a car to order, 'Right around 5:30, please.' I was certain that these were the hands that once held books and the eyes that studied history and the mind that graduated summa cum laude - but now they had disappeared into the peanut butter, never to be seen again. She's going . she's going . she's gone! One night, a group of us were having dinner, celebrating the return of a friend from England. Janice had just gotten back from a fabulous trip, and she was going on and on about the hotel she stayed in. I was sitting there, looking around at the others all put together so well. It was hard not to compare and feel sorry for myself as I looked down at my out-of-style dress; it was the only thing I could find that was clean. My unwashed hair was pulled up in a banana clip, and I was afraid I could actually smell peanut butter in it. I was feeling pretty pathetic, when Janice turned to me with a beautifully wrapped package, and said, 'I brought you this.' It was a book on the great cathedrals of Europe. I wasn't exactly sure why she'd given it to me until I read her inscription: 'To Charlotte, with admiration for the greatness of what you are building that no one sees.' In the days ahead I would read - no, devour - the book. And I would discover what would become for me, four life-changing truths, after which I could pattern my work:
* No one can say who built the great cathedrals - we have no record of their names.
* These builders gave their whole lives for a work they would never see finished.
* They made great sacrifices and expected no credit.
* The passion of their building was fueled by their faith that the eyes of God saw everything.

A legendary story in the book told of a rich man who came to visit the cathedral while it was being built, and he saw a workman carving a tiny bird on the inside of a beam. He was puzzled and asked the man, 'Why are you spending so much time carving that bird into a beam that will be covered by the roof? No one will ever see it.' And the workman replied, 'Because God sees.' I closed the book, feeling the missing piece fall into place. It was almost as if I heard God whispering to me, 'I see you, Charlotte. I see the sacrifices you make every day, even when no one around you does. No act of kindness you've done, no sequin you've sewn on, no cupcake you've baked, is too small for me to notice and smile over. You are building a great cathedral, but you can't see right now what it will become.' At times, my invisibility feels like an affliction. But it is not a disease that is erasing my life. It is the cure for the disease of my own self-centeredness. It is the antidote to my strong, stubborn pride. I keep the right perspective when I see myself as a great builder. As one of the people who show up at a job that they will never see finished, to work on something that their name will never be on. The writer of the book went so far as to say that no cathedrals could ever be built in our lifetime because there are so few people willing to sacrifice to that degree. When I really think about it, I don't want my son to tell the friend he's bringing home from college for Thanksgiving, 'My mom gets up at 4 in the morning and bakes homemade pies, and then she hand bastes a turkey for three hours and presses all the linens for the table.' That would mean I'd built a shrine or a monument to myself. I just want him to want to come home. And then, if there is anything more to say to his friend, to add, 'You're gonna love it there.' As mothers, we are building great cathedrals. We cannot be seen if we're doing it right. And one day, it is very possible that the world will marvel, not only at what we have built, but at the beauty that has been added to the world by the sacrifices of invisible women.
-- People may forget what you said. People may forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel!
Thank you Emily for passing "it" on!

Guess who lost "another" toof-ie...his 3rd one...and yet another one is loose...he's losing it! *smile*

This tooth has been literally "hanging" around in his mouth for about 2 weeks...and Daddy has tried to pull it...to no avail...but today when I was looking at him...his tooth looked so dark...you could tell that the tooth "had" to come out today...so he was pretty excited to try mama's way...so I calmly tied a piece of thread around it...while he is giggling and hyper-ventilating at the same time...and I'm telling him to take deep breaths...but he didn't hear any of what I was saying...he he he...I told him I would not pull on the thread that he would have total control and that I knew he could be the brave "kinder" boy and pull it out himself...and giggling as he did and jumping in one place for a while...he kept tugging...and I kept tell him that I was proud...and that it was making progress...and the whole time he wanted me to hold a mirror.....I told him we didn't have time to hunt down a mirror...I'm not gonna fib... I did have an urge ONE time to just yank it...but then he would of totally lost faith in my method...b/c folks he has tons of teeth left to pull...so I resisted....and he tugged harder and harder...then it flew on the floor...his face in utter surprise... and then elation....you could tell he was so PROUD! Yay! Now the neighbor tooth is wiggly...here we go again..;-)
Dropping by sister's room to show her...and he let her hold it and everything...and he actually wanted me to take a picture with lil' Soph who is "4 ya know"...(maybe he is just used to me making him take picture's with his sista'..and him being programed...just sat on the bed with her...and asked politely....nah...that couldn't be it...*smile*) he must of been mighty excited!!
Putting the "booty" in the small tooth fairy box.....for safe keeping!
Nice and secure...like Fort Knox I say...;-)
Gently and oh so carefully...placing the tooth box tightly and securely under his pillow.....and he decided that he wasn't going to lay on this particular pillow...he was gonna lay on his "other" purple (CoCo sent him back to Okinawa with this ULTRA soft purple of all colors ...pillow that he LOVES!) so the tooth fairy doesn't wake him up...b/c he has school tomorrow!

Someone is "snaggle toof" and LOVING it!

We have two dolla's awaiting his pillow.....is that the going rate?! Who knows...

Good night...or to you in the States....Good morning!

BookClub was a no go...but had fun watching Kent and the kids at the park down the hill...

Hello!
I had planned on going to book club to see all mah' girls...BUT...Kent and I realized that a sitter was nowhere to be found...b/c playing in the tourney you just never know times and "if" your gonna win or not....
A couple of weeks ago...I scheduled book club...and then a little later Kent brought this tourney to the table and we agreed that it would work...but the closer we got to the date...we realized we both were booked and NO sitter...*gasp*.....But folks...I took one for the team...and didn't go to bookclub...*wah*wah*wah*...But I got some cute pic's of the kids at the park which was down the hill from the field...I'll post those tomorrow...
When Kent came home...he came and gave me a big bear hug and said, "Honey...I stopped at 3 different stores to buy you flowers but none of them had any!" ...this made me smile...and later on...he whispered that he was sorry that I didn't make it to visit and discuss the book with the girls...and that warmed my heart as well...and I whispered back...that it was worth seeing the kids having so much fun and Daddy having a blast as well! So now..I'm gonna pour me a glass of wine...consume the Merlot beverage...and devour the steak Kent is grilling....and I will be sure to inhale the cream cheese/garlic mashed potatoes and crispy asparagus spears.......a GREAT end to a GREAT day!!
G'night...from my house....somewhere on a island where da' Grubbs unit is getting tucked in....
Keep on Keepin' on....
T

Kent's team won....and he had a BLAST!

Batta' up....

Crouching tiger....

Batta' batta' batta' SWING...batta'

Running in after the win...

Good game...fella's...

If you care to share your thoughts...feedback..and a RANDOM tidbit about my Friday!

Do you guys like the lil' pictures or should I stay with the bigger pictures....hmmm..can't decide which I like betta'! Give me your opinion...if you have the time...no pressure...just me being indecisive! *ha* Imagine a "WOMAN" being indecisive!
Oh...speaking of being a woman...what some women do is get their eyebrow's waxed...and I did that today...boy does that smart or what?!?...the "anticipation" that comes with your hair being ripped off your forehead is more painful than the actual ripping of the hair...anyway...all I have to say about that is during the process..."everything" clenches....can ya say Keigels (sp?)?! If you are a woman and have this done...I know you are laughing...the men reading.....you have NO clue unless "YOU" have had it done...I know there are some closet waxer's! *ha*
Book club tomorrow...will I blog??! Survey says," Righty-O...Folks!"
stayed tuned.....
