It all started on Thursday afternoon...I shuttle Kai off to school...and asked Sophia if she wanted to go to school or stay home so we could go to Kai's story book school parade...and she chose to stay home and go to the parade...this meant she could dress up in her angel costume...so beautiful she said...about her costume...so we stayed home and we made goodie bags for Kai's classmates...
A quick story about Kai.....I always lay his clothes out for him the night before....(I know...he should be doing this...but I like doing it...he he he...micro-manager..that is ME!)
So he was told to wear all grey for his costume...usually Kai will come in and go to the bathroom and then go make his bed and get dressed...yaddah..yaddah...but this particular morning...I went in and he had his duvet pulled up to his neck staring at the ceiling....I asked him if he was sleeping in and he said no...that he was nervous...he didn't want to wear his trunk and ears...and then daddy comes in and says get up boy...hehehehe...all your classmates will be your sidekick's..so hesitantly and reluctantly he got out of bed and we shuttled to school.....this shy but outgoing boy was terrified that everyone would laugh at him.... oh boy...we got a nervous one on our hands...;-)

It was sweaty time....rolls of sweat were drippin' off of mama-san...and Sophia was glistening as well as Kai...whew..Okinawan heat...even in late October....
After the parade we went into the classroom and the kids sang and performed some Halloween songs...(I'll try to post a video)....very cute...and they were very proud performer's....such happy kids...the life of a 5 year old...depicted on the faces above!

Then on Saturday...after a full day of tennis makeup lesson's...and decorating the Habu pit for our Halloween party we co-hosted with 5 other couples...we were ready to don our costumes and get jiggy wit' it...we had a wonderful babysitter come and color and play with the kids.....we left the kiddo's happy and content...and that is always a GREAT feeling!
After a couple of beers straight from the keg....our pose is a bit more relaxed...
At the end of the night...after a few more...we are all about posing and strategy.....that is our key to winning...you have to have a few beers to be competitive! *ha*

Kent and I had such a great time...it was funny...all day we had different schedules...Me and the kids doing tennis...and Kent doing some choir for a buddy friend.....and then decorating...we didn't see each other much....so we had a GREAT repore the whole night...from the drive to the party.....during the party...Kent was crackin' me up...I would tell you all the stories...but somehow they wouldn't be as funny now...and when we left without telling anyone...we were naughty (Kent had to do Sunday school for a buddy on Sunday....and I can easily be talked into going out on the town...we decided to sneak out)....Kent managed to crack me up by rehashing all the funny stories that made me laugh at the party...he had me gigglin' so much I was CRYING....he he he...the taxi drive probably thought I was tipsy or something....he he he...*wink*
