Kai's first basketball game...Go Dragons!

Kai had his first basketball debut today...what a fun time we had watching all the little people!

This is basketball on "training wheels"...I was expecting the ref's to be blowing their whistles non-stop...but the cool thing about this...is that they don't keep score which is GREAT...they have 5 minute quarters...a little half time...and Kai's team is one of the only teams who has cheerleaders....so fun to watch...

The coaches also get to go out and kind of prod the kids into action...

I posted two snippets of video at the end....

Kent and I were both smiling from ear to ear...and our friend from church who has a son playing as well..but quite a few years older..came to support the bug! Thank You, "EL"!

Kai's team lost...but he didn't know that....the coach said everyone won....we'll see how long that lasts...he he he

Kai had a ball...literally...and so did his parents...*ha*

"Our" boy..shoes laced...hydrating...and ready to play...

Warming up with Coach "S"...

Organized aren't we...he he he...

Lil' sister watching from the sidelines...

Getting ready to start.....

The starting five...

Dribbling...strolling...dribbling some more...at least he is going the right direction...;-)

Our cheer squad

After the game...

Kai first hand in...ready to shout, "DRAGON'S"

Kai...his first game under his belt...

Kai scoring 2 points...Kachow!

Kai showing his dribbling skills....and then he sprints down and plays some defense...

then...

We went to Daddy's softball tourney afterwards....

This is daddy ;-)

The kids played and played...and Kai had a buddy from his basketball team to play with...nice kid!
Then we left daddy and came home and bathed...got snuggled up on the couch and watched the Christmas cartoon shows me and my sister watched when we were lil' gals...it was definitely a loving night with my bugs....we waited up for daddy...8:30 pm (we never let them stay up that late)...and he got to tuck them in...
It was a nice day!
