Kai turned 6 ...on a Sunday...he went to church...met mama at sMarti's baby shower...and had a waffle bar and sausage balls to eat....and he hung with the Ladies...such a ladies man....he sat by Nay Nay...aka...Naomi...and he told her he was gonna be a pilot....(go figure he lives by an airbase...a quarter mile in his backyard...) and he was gonna fly her to Egypt....and of course his mama was invited.....;-)

Then off to ultimate Frisbee...a MUST....it is second to church to all our MALE friends.....he played with his friends for 2 solid hours...then off to CoCo's curry....

Awwwwww yeah!

During the day...it had sun showers....intermittenly...

Then Kent made a scavenger hunt for the kids to play after the rain went away....

he hid clues for Aden...and Kai...and friends...they ran from place to place...uncovering the cleverly written clues...to find a box full of candy and glow sticks...

Way to go Daddy...this was pretty entertaining to watch the kids do

The whole time...Sophia was clutching daddy's hand...b/c she was scared of who left the notes...she thought it was a raccoon who wrote the notes...*ha*

The kids practically put themselves to bed by 8:00. pm...after some putt putt golf and running around...they were tuckered!

The next day was lazy...Kent-o made breakfast tacos...and Christa made chocolate chip pancakes...and everyone was happy!

Then Sophia started getting sick...and we packed up and headed home!

Thank goodness for a 3 day weekend....

We had such a FABULOUS time hanging out with our Okinawa family that we were blessed with....but we DEFINITELY missed our Stateside familia....who wouldn't...ya'll are the BEST!

I cannot wait for summer...we have our schedule pretty much figured out...
